Ms Sharon Swiger is President of Swiger Consulting. She had sixteen years experience in management and client relations in the hospitality industry prior to heading this firm. She attended Northampton Community College and has completed specialized seminars and training in GIS systems, research methodology, and planning. Ms Swiger is a member of the American Planning Association and the Urban Land Institute.

Ms Swiger has extensive experience in client relations and management, as well as providing research support, quality control, and business planning for the firm. She assists in preparing and delivering presentations, conducting project interviews and meetings, and in the collection of project data.
 
 

Dr. Ernest Swiger is Project Director for the firm. He brings fourteen years experience in the area of preparing economic and community development strategies, market analyses, competitive assessments, and Smart Growth strategies. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, is a licensed New Jersey Professional Planner, a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina, and a member of the International Economic Development Council. He holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Dr. Swiger has extensive experience in working with agencies, advisory boards, business leaders and the public in the development of goals, objectives and action plans. His work on the Consolidated Plans, neighborhood revitalization efforts, and Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies, as well as numerous redevelopment projects has entailed much hands-on work with strategy committees, the approval of such plans by governing bodies, and presentations to the public.
